The format is deliberately compact: an idea worth your attention, the context needed to understand it, and a route into the original reporting.

Every note, sourced.

Notes distinguish reported facts, research findings and editorial interpretation. Original reporting and primary sources are linked at the end of each note. Restaurant openings, collection previews and cultural selections are described as such; they are not presented as firsthand reviews.

Publication dates remain visible in the journal and archive. Time-sensitive details such as prices, public hours and availability should be checked with the original source.

Corrections policy

Spotted a factual error? Send a correction with the note’s link, the detail that needs changing, and a supporting source if you have one. No name or email address is required. Reports are stored privately; they do not appear on the site and do not generate an email reply.

Material factual corrections should be recorded on the affected note with the date of the change and an explanation of what was corrected. Small typography and formatting fixes do not change the original publication date.

The archive

The archive presents the full editorial text of the daily magazines, with their original publication dates and source links. Personal details and private production material are excluded. Historical forecasts, ticket notices, sale prices and betting lines are records of that day rather than current offers.

Browse by topic or by edition, share a note’s own page, or add the RSS feed to your preferred reader. The site uses no analytics, advertising trackers or email collection. A color-theme preference is stored only in your browser when you select one. If you submit a correction, the note link, your report and any supporting link are saved in a private editorial inbox. Please do not include personal or sensitive information.
