Million Goods opened its larger Fort Greene location on September 10, at 201 DeKalb Avenue. It combines a wine bar, a separate listening room, a garden and clothing retail across two floors. That makes it a promising place to spend an unhurried stretch of an evening, rather than another destination requiring a dinner reservation as its organizing principle. Million Goods coverage, first item; opening date in Eater’s roundup: Fort Greene entry
The clothing selection includes Nicholas Daley, Margaret Howell, Document and Sunflower. Those names suggest a more interesting browse than a rail of merchandise bolted onto a bar: different approaches to texture, tailoring and music-inflected casual clothes.
The new branch lists Thursday–Saturday hours of noon to midnight. Check the dated Fort Greene program for September 16–20 before choosing a night; I haven’t verified a particular performance’s entry terms. The opening itself is the discovery.
