Glean’s October 1 release makes Agent Identity generally available: an agent can use its own governed account rather than act under a person’s credentials. Administrators control service credentials and knowledge profiles; builders can attach dedicated Slack or Teams apps. Its Skills API also becomes generally available, with 14 operations covering discovery, validation, import, synchronization and versioning. This is concrete deployment machinery. Whether it reduces errors in a particular organization remains a separate question.
