TEO opened this month at 135 West 29th Street. Its official menu gives a clear route through perilla-oil acorn noodles ($19), fluke crudo ($24) and roasted eggplant with smoked tofu ($18). The Korean tea and fermentation program makes it more distinctive than a generic small-plates opening. The three dishes total $61 before tax, tip and drinks. Check preparations when ordering; other dishes explicitly contain egg, cream or soft cheese. Posted café hours are Monday–Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.; dinner is Tuesday–Saturday 5:30–10 p.m., so not Monday night. We have not eaten there or verified table availability.
