LSEG says a collaboration with NVIDIA can reduce analysis of years of Tick History data from hours to seconds using NVIDIA cuDF and Polars. The important architecture choice is not simply “use a GPU.” LSEG says customers can bring accelerated computation to permissioned historical data without creating another full copy of the underlying dataset, while preserving licences, entitlements and access controls.
