Business Insider’s October 16 report says outside managers now account for half the market exposure of Walleye’s equity long-short unit. That is a measure of exposure, not half of the firm’s assets.
The reporting also describes new roles connecting fundamental equities, volatility and central strategies through technology, alongside investment-talent recruitment and assessment of external opportunities. Walleye declined comment.
