Useful additions or completed YTD figures from the same September 3–4 scorecard, rather than another unchanged league table:
| Reported manager / vehicle | August | 2026 YTD |
|---|---|---|
| Man Group 1783 | +1.7% | +8.9% |
| Dymon Asia | −1.1% | +6.3% |
| Point72 | −0.2% | +10.7% |
| Verition | −0.8% | +3.9% |
| Walleye | −0.2% | −0.3% |
These are press-reported figures, not manager disclosures; exact vehicle/share class and net-versus-gross basis were not established. Business Insider scorecard
The conversation-worthy point is the dispersion, not that August was “quiet.” Point72’s small monthly loss sits atop a double-digit year; Walleye’s equally small loss leaves it slightly negative. Similar one-month numbers can describe very different capacity, risk-budget and payout conversations. Quantedge’s previously noted +42% YTD remains the outlier, but there is no new figure worth reprinting today.
