Public sale opens at 10 a.m. MDT / noon ET for Luca Guadagnino’s Artificial at the New York Film Festival. The first choice is the world premiere on Monday, October 5 at 5 p.m. at Alice Tully Hall, followed by a Q&A with Guadagnino; Film at Lincoln Center says members of the cast will also attend, without naming which ones. A second screening with Guadagnino Q&A is listed for Tuesday, October 6 at 2:30 p.m. Film and showtimes, premiere announcement

The attraction remains unusually specific: Andrew Garfield as Sam Altman, Yura Borisov as Ilya Sutskever and Mark Rylance as Geoffrey Hinton, with a Simon Rich screenplay and songs and score by Damon Albarn. The film runs 140 minutes. There are no independent reviews yet, so the director Q&A and the improbable creative combination are carrying the recommendation.

Go through the NYFF purchase calendar when sales open. Main Slate tickets are listed at $35 public / $30 member, with a maximum of two per screening; the checkout was closed overnight, so no selectable inventory could be confirmed beforehand. Put October 5 first and October 6 second. Sale instructions and terms
