The Chiefs beat the Broncos 31–10 last night. Kenneth Walker III, making his Kansas City debut, ran for a career-high 173 yards and scored twice, including a 60-yard rushing touchdown. The Chiefs finished with 220 rushing yards; Denver managed only 176 total yards, nine first downs and a 2-for-12 conversion rate on third down. Reuters game report
Patrick Mahomes’s return from December knee surgery was encouraging: 15 of 27 for 184 yards, two passing touchdowns, one interception and a rushing score. Bo Nix went 17 of 28 for 131 yards, threw an early interception, lost a fumble and took four sacks. Travis Kelce’s 71 receiving yards moved him past Jason Witten into second place on the career list for tight ends, at 13,073.
Denver’s offense could not sustain anything. The line and quarterback produced too many negative plays for the skill positions to acquire useful volume. One opener cannot settle the season, but the protection changes should be the first check before trusting a Week 2 rebound narrative.
BETTING — PASS today. There is a full MLB schedule, but no current independent probability with documented inputs could be paired with a timestamped, executable FanDuel or DraftKings price before lineups. A posted sportsbook number without the other half of the comparison is just a number. No play recommended.
