Google announced Gemini 4 Argon on September 30, initially rolling it out to trusted cyber defenders through its Fairwind Program. Wider developer, enterprise and consumer access has no dated public release commitment in the announcement. Google describes long-running coding and professional workflows, and reports agent-led memory optimizations freeing more than 300 tebibytes across its own data centers. Those are vendor-reported results. Introductory pricing is announced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. The rollout makes the announcement consequential; it does not make the model generally available today. Official announcement.
