An October 9 journal publication, following a September 2025 preprint, studies adaptive scrambling, measurement and reset on up to 100 IBM qubits. Entanglement changes near a control probability of 0.3; control reaches its target-state phase near 0.5. Between those thresholds, modest typical entanglement coexists with chaotic quantum fluctuations. Their distributions, rather than averaged magnetisation alone, distinguish the quantum behaviour.

Increasing the control probability changes the moving site’s drift, while doubling the chain length can quadruple the required step count. Spatial control and entanglement require separate explanations. Open model
