Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam are touring the tenth anniversary of I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, with two shows at Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 9 and 10. Sam and Louise Sullivan open. The useful first listen is the newly released piano version of “In a Black Out,” which strips an already nocturnal song down to its frame. Tour announcement and track
The November 9 listing gives 7 p.m. doors, an 8 p.m. show and an 18+ policy. Artist presale begins Monday at 10 a.m. ET, Amex presale Tuesday, and general sale Wednesday, September 23 at 10 a.m. ET. Prices and selectable inventory were not exposed before sale. Exact AXS listing
This is a strong room for that record: large enough to sound full, still small enough for Leithauser’s voice to feel unreasonably close.
